1. Purpose and scope
DMS HOLDINGS LLC expects its suppliers and business partners to act lawfully, honestly and responsibly. This code sets out those expectations. It supports, and does not replace, applicable law or the terms agreed for an individual transaction.
Suppliers should share these expectations with the people and subcontractors involved in supplying DMS, and tell us before accepting an order if they cannot meet a requirement.
2. Lawful trade and honest dealing
Comply with the laws and permissions that apply to your business, your goods and each transaction, including import and export controls, sanctions and anti-bribery law. Do not disguise a product’s origin, its destination or the parties involved.
Do not offer or request bribes, improper commissions or other benefits to influence a decision. Our Anti-Bribery Policy sets out the detail. Disclose any conflict of interest that could affect a commercial decision.
3. Genuine goods and accurate documents
Supply genuine goods that match the agreed description, specification, packaging and condition. Do not substitute products, change the origin or alter a material specification without written agreement.
Provide accurate invoices, packing lists, origin information and any certificates the order requires. Do not misrepresent brand rights, certifications, shelf life, model versions or warranty cover. Tell DMS promptly about suspected counterfeit goods, safety concerns, recalls or material errors.
4. People, safety and the environment
Respect applicable labour law and human rights. Do not use forced labour, human trafficking or unlawful child labour. Provide lawful employment terms and a workplace that manages its health and safety risks.
Meet applicable environmental requirements. Store, handle and transport goods responsibly, including temperature-sensitive and hazardous products, and manage packaging and waste as local rules require.
5. Information and cooperation
Protect confidential business information and personal data you receive through the relationship. Share it only where authorised or required by law.
Keep the records for each transaction and answer reasonable questions about product origin or a concern that has been raised. Any request for information will be proportionate to the transaction and to what the parties have agreed.
6. Raising concerns
Report a suspected breach to info@dmsholdings.ae with Supplier conduct concern in the subject line. Give enough detail to identify the issue and leave out personal data that is not needed. Suppliers must not retaliate against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
DMS will consider the information and may ask for clarification or corrective action. A serious or unresolved issue may lead to an order being paused or a relationship ending, subject to the law and the contract. We share information only as needed to assess the concern or meet a legal duty, so we cannot promise complete confidentiality.
